Lahore (Lord Media): Police in Lahore’s Gulshan Ravi area have arrested a burqa-clad woman and her accomplice on charges of motorcycle theft. According to police, the suspect, along with her friend, was involved in stealing motorcycles.
The suspects were apprehended late at night in the Sharaqpur Bridge Atari area. They targeted motorcycles parked outside homes and were involved in thefts across various locations.
Police stated that CCTV footage of the motorcycle theft has surfaced, clearly showing the suspects committing the crime. The footage also shows the burqa-clad woman riding the stolen motorcycle.
The police traced the suspects with the help of Safe City and local cameras. They recovered a pistol with bullets, cash, and two stolen motorcycles from the arrested suspects.
A case has been registered against the suspects, and further investigation is underway.
