Banned group facilitator jailed for 14 years

Turbat (Lord Media): An anti-terrorism court has sentenced Sajid Ahmed, a facilitator of banned organizations BLA and BLF, to 14 years in prison. Security forces arrested Sajid Ahmed in Panjgur with weapons and explosive materials.

Sajid Ahmed was involved in recruiting and inciting students to join banned organizations through the proxy Baloch Solidarity Committee, Fitna Al-Hindustan.

Connections between Sajid Ahmed and Indian-sponsored networks have also been uncovered, and he was tasked with preparing a vehicle for a suicide attack. The anti-terrorism court sentenced him to an additional 7 years under the Balochistan Arms Act.

The court’s decision has raised new questions about the nexus between the Indian proxy BYC and banned militant organizations.
