Lahore (Lord Media): The Punjab government has launched the ‘Maryam Ki Dastak’ app, a significant step towards consolidating government services onto a single platform. This app aims to provide citizens with access to government services from the comfort of their homes.
The program offers services in two ways: through a facilitator service, where trained personnel visit homes to verify documents and complete applications; and through a self-service option, allowing citizens to fill out forms and track application progress via the app.
According to the Punjab government, the platform offers over 76 government services, including birth, death, and marriage certificates, domicile, e-stamping, and property tax services.
These services are available to citizens across more than 40 districts in Punjab. However, citizens are advised to be cautious of fake links and unofficial websites. In case of any difficulties, assistance can be sought through the helpline 1202.
