PML-N issues tickets for 37 AJK seats

Islamabad (Lord Media): The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has issued tickets for 37 out of 45 constituencies for the upcoming Azad Jammu and Kashmir elections. Consultations are ongoing for the remaining 8 seats, and a final announcement is expected soon. Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif have tasked Rana Sanaullah and Amir Muqam with overseeing the election campaign.

According to sources, the announcement for the 8 remaining candidates is expected in the next two days, with meetings underway with key candidates. Chaudhry Muhammad Azhar Sadiq has joined PML-N, finalizing his electoral arrangements.

Yasin Gulshan is likely to be nominated as the party candidate from Abbaspur, while former government minister Chaudhry Shehzad has decided to join PML-N from Lachhrat. Malik Nawaz from Raj Mahal Kotli and Sardar Javed Sharif from Rawalakot LA-22 are expected to receive tickets.

The list of candidates has been sent to Nawaz Sharif for final approval, and efforts are being made to maintain party discipline among those not receiving tickets. The Election Commission has announced official results for 21 out of 24 constituencies. The final list of candidates will be released on July 5.
