Air Force One retires after 35 years of service

Washington (Lord Media): The United States has retired its iconic Air Force One aircraft after 35 years of service. A luxury Boeing 747, gifted by Qatar and valued at 400 million U.S. dollars, will now serve as the new Air Force One.

The Boeing 747 had been providing travel services to U.S. presidents for over three decades. Former President Donald Trump took the final flight on this aircraft from the G7 summit in France to Washington.

U.S. Communications Director Steven Cheung shared a photo of the aircraft on social media, captioning it ‘Final Ride’ with the words ‘Well done, good and faithful servant.’

The luxury Boeing 747 gifted by Qatar is being integrated into the U.S. air fleet as the new Air Force One.

The retired aircraft joined the U.S. Air Force fleet in 1990 and served presidents from George H.W. Bush to Donald Trump.
