Karachi (Lord Media): The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has announced the schedule for the MDCAT 2026. The examination is set to take place on August 16 at 10 AM. Online registration for candidates will commence on June 22 and continue until July 8, with late registration available until July 13.
The PMDC has stated that the registration fee for MDCAT in Pakistan is 9,000 rupees, with a late fee of 13,000 rupees. For international test centers, the fee is set at 45,000 rupees. All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
In Sindh, the exam will be conducted by Sukkur IBA University, in Punjab by the University of Health Sciences Lahore, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by Khyber Medical University Peshawar, and in Balochistan by Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences Quetta. In Islamabad, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Riyadh, the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University will conduct the exam.
According to the announcement, the MDCAT will consist of 180 multiple-choice questions with no negative marking. Candidates must complete online registration as incomplete applications will not be accepted.
The PMDC has clarified that the council reserves the right to change the exam schedule if necessary.
