Lower Dir (Lord Media): Terrorists launched an attack on a police post at Badwan Bridge in Lower Dir, resulting in the martyrdom of Constable Muhammad Ismail during an exchange of gunfire. Police officials stated that the officers mounted a strong counteraction, forcing the terrorists to flee. In response to the incident, security has been heightened in the area, and a search operation is underway to locate the escaping terrorists.
According to police, the funeral prayer for the martyred Constable Muhammad Ismail will be held today at the police lines in Timergara, attended by senior police and district administration officials, along with individuals from various walks of life.
