Budget praised even by critics, says Tarar

Islamabad (Lord Media): Federal Minister for Information Atta Tarar, alongside Minister of State for Finance Bilal Azhar Kayani, stated in a press conference that the budget has been praised even by critics who are usually inclined to criticize.

Tarar mentioned that an attempt is being made to create a negative environment, but even Miftah Ismail has praised the budget. He claimed that Pakistan was on the brink of default and foreign exchange reserves were at their lowest.

He further stated that the budget benefits salaried individuals, industry, and exporters. Public sector salaries have been increased by 7 percent, while the minimum wages in the private sector have seen a 10 percent rise. Tax concessions on IT have been maintained.

He noted that the interest rate was at 22 percent and remittances had decreased. The leadership of PML-N stabilized the economy, and Shehbaz Sharif advanced it under Nawaz Sharif’s vision.

Under the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, significant funds have been allocated for the youth, with approximately 550,000 young people benefiting from agricultural and business loans.
