US lifts Iran’s maritime blockade

Washington (Lord Media): The United States has lifted its maritime blockade on Iran, confirmed by the Iranian government. Following this, Iranian tankers have departed carrying millions of barrels of crude oil. Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht Ravanchi stated that the U.S. surveillance has been completely removed.

The vessel tracking agency ‘Tankers Tracker’ reported that a tanker loaded with two million barrels of Iranian crude oil has crossed the U.S. prohibited maritime line. Additional Iranian ships are also departing from ports.

Reports indicate that, for the first time in two months, at least three Iranian tankers carrying five million barrels of crude oil have exited the Strait of Hormuz. According to ‘KPLER’, two large tankers have successfully breached the U.S. blockade.

An American broadcasting agency stated that other tankers are preparing to resume trade with Iran. The U.S. and Iran have signed a preliminary agreement to end hostilities, with the main ceremony scheduled for Friday.

According to reports, following the agreement, Iran will be allowed to sell oil and will pledge to halt its nuclear program. The maritime sector views this news with skepticism, and insurance companies are still demanding high-risk premiums.
