Islamabad (Lord Media): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar has termed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s offer for dialogue as a positive development. He emphasized that the offer should not remain limited to statements but should yield practical results.
Speaking to the media on Adiala Road, Barrister Gohar stated that if the government genuinely seeks dialogue, the Prime Minister must take the initiative himself. He noted that the Prime Minister has all the authority, questioning why he cannot arrange a meeting with the PTI founder.
Barrister Gohar highlighted the necessity of consulting the PTI founder for the approval of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s budget. He also appreciated Pakistan’s role in the potential agreement between Iran and the United States.
He suggested that similar to the peace efforts between Iran and the U.S., there should be a peace agreement in Pakistan to uphold democracy, constitutional supremacy, and public rights.
