Rawalpindi (Lord Media): Police have devised a comprehensive security plan in anticipation of potential visits to Adiala Jail by PTI founder Imran Khan and party workers. Over 1,300 personnel will be deployed at various locations to maintain law and order.
According to police officials, a total of 12 checkpoints will be established around Adiala Jail and on access routes. Special checkpoints will be set up at Gorakhpur, Chakri Interchange, Garden Villas Diversion, and Bahria Phase 8, while additional checkposts will be established at Thalian Interchange, Khawaja Corporation, Gulshan Abad, and in front of Capital Smart City.
The security plan stipulates that no unauthorized persons or convoys will be allowed to approach Adiala Jail. Police will strictly monitor movement and keep a vigilant eye on suspicious activities.
Officials stated that personnel from the Elite Force, Riot Management Force, equipped with water cannons and tear gas, will also be deployed to effectively handle any emergency situations.
