Tehran (Lord Media): Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has welcomed the memorandum of understanding (MoU) reached between Iran and the United States, describing it as a diplomatic success for Iran. He stated that Iran has emerged successful from this process, and the agreement is a significant document of the region’s and resistance forces’ determination, resilience, and dignity.
President Pezeshkian noted that there is a minor disagreement in a very brief section of the agreement, but overall, this MoU aligns with Iran’s stance and national interests. He pointed out that Israel’s reaction to the agreement is itself proof that Iran has succeeded in achieving its objectives.
The Iranian President further stated that the MoU is the result of months of negotiations, diplomatic contacts, and continuous efforts. He emphasized that if all clauses of the agreement are fully implemented, it will be a proud document for the Iranian nation and country. Masoud Pezeshkian also thanked the political and diplomatic leadership involved in the completion of the agreement, appreciating the services of Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, and other relevant officials.
According to the Iranian President, this MoU could prove to be a significant milestone not only for Iran but also for promoting stability, ceasefire, and diplomatic solutions in the entire region.
