Islamabad (Lord Media): PTI leader Salman Akram Raja emphasized the need for Pakistan to focus on education, democracy, and economic reforms to ensure the country’s survival. Speaking at a news conference, he highlighted that nations spending 25 U.S. dollars on education cannot compete with those investing 425 U.S. dollars, noting that China invests 17 times more in education than Pakistan.
Raja further stated that Pakistan’s economy is stagnating and remains in the ICU despite five budget presentations. He argued that nations progress by investing in people rather than selling stones.
Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar pointed out that life has become difficult for low-income groups, and the government has failed to reduce its expenditures. He asserted that a budget cannot succeed without addressing public issues, and there should be a balance between taxes and services.
He added that despite heavy taxation, there is a lack of services, which is widening the trust gap between the state and the public.
