Islamabad (Lord Media): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Qaiser has accused the government of economic mismanagement in the National Assembly. He claimed that Minister Atta Tarar distorted facts in the house.
Qaiser stated that PTI has always advocated for an independent judiciary and the rule of law in the country. Referring to a letter written to the IMF, he emphasized that they have consistently represented Pakistan’s interests and presented their viewpoint.
He demanded a debate on the loans taken by the country and questioned which sector the government has provided relief to. Qaiser highlighted that wheat farmers in Punjab have suffered losses amounting to 2.2 trillion Pakistani rupees, severely affecting their livelihoods.
He further added that 90 multinational companies have left the country, leading to increased unemployment.
