Militants fire on police vehicle in Rawalakot

Rawalakot (Lord Media): Members of the banned Joint Public Action Committee fired over 30 bullets at a police armored vehicle in Rawalakot. The bullet marks are clearly visible on the armored vehicle.

The leader of the banned action committee had issued threats of violence in an audio message. In response, police have reinstated 177 FIRs that were previously withdrawn.

Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has stated that they are committed to finding a political solution and will attempt to establish a Truth and Reconciliation Commission to address pending grievances.

The Azad Kashmir government has declared the Jammu Kashmir Joint Public Action Committee as banned and reinstated the cases that were previously dismissed after a breach of agreement.
