Islamabad (Lord Media): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held a telephonic conversation, discussing ongoing negotiations between the United States and Iran, as well as regional developments.
The Foreign Office spokesperson stated that both foreign ministers welcomed the final phase of negotiations between the US and Iran.
According to the statement, a historic electronic signing ceremony between the US and Iran is expected to take place tomorrow, which could prove to be a significant diplomatic advancement in the region.
Iran has issued a new clarification regarding the signing of the MoU.
Ishaq Dar expressed hope that the potential agreement could lead to lasting peace, stability, and cooperation in the Middle East.
The Saudi Foreign Minister appreciated Pakistan’s positive efforts in the negotiations and mediation process, acknowledging its role.
Both leaders also discussed the upcoming Regional Forum meeting in Egypt and committed to continuing joint diplomatic efforts for peace and stability in the region.
