Iran, US expected to sign peace deal at G7

Tehran (Lord Media): The Iranian Foreign Ministry has confirmed that a peace agreement between the United States and Iran is expected to be signed on the sidelines of the G7 summit. The summit will take place in Evian, France, from June 15 to June 17.

An Iranian Foreign Ministry official stated that if the situation remains stable, the agreement might be signed on June 14. The signing is expected to occur in Geneva, with Iran represented by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Abbas Araghchi, while the U.S. will be represented by Vice President J.D. Vance and Jared Kushner.

A delegation from Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs will also attend this significant event. During the G7 summit, the UK and France plan to discuss a mine-clearing initiative in the Strait of Hormuz.

The G7 summit will address the Middle East situation, geopolitical challenges, Ukraine, peace and security in Europe, international partnerships, economic growth, and artificial intelligence.
