According to British media, locks were broken on a vehicle transporting players’ equipment at Kansas City’s Swope Soccer Village, resulting in the theft of items possibly including training shoes and footballs.
The Football Association is working to determine the details of the stolen items. The team’s equipment was to be delivered to Kansas City ahead of their arrival, while the England team, including the coach, is set to arrive in Kansas City on Saturday.
Police are in contact with the Football Association and are investigating the matter, with two individuals already arrested on suspicion of the theft.
