Salman Khan seeks to halt film release

New Delhi (Lord Media): Bollywood actor Salman Khan has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court to stop the release of the film ‘Kala Hiran: The Battle for Justice’. Salman Khan claims that the filmmakers have violated his personality and publicity rights.

According to his legal team, the initial poster of the film resembles the actor’s famous bracelet, which could mislead viewers. The legal team also stated that scenes or characters in the film might associate with Salman Khan without permission, referencing the blackbuck poaching case, which could harm the actor’s reputation.

The film’s producer, Amit Jani, has denied these allegations, stating that the film is not based on Salman Khan’s life but focuses on the Bishnoi community and their relationship with wildlife.

The Delhi High Court has issued a notice on the petition and scheduled the hearing for next week.
