Bangkok (Lord Media): Princess Bajrakitiyabha of Thailand, the eldest daughter of King Maha Vajiralongkorn, has passed away at the age of 47. The Thai royal palace confirmed that she had been in a coma for four years.
Princess Bajrakitiyabha fell unconscious in December 2022 due to a sudden heart condition and was subsequently hospitalized.
In recent weeks, her health deteriorated further due to multiple infections and organ complications, rendering her condition critical.
Princess Bajrakitiyabha was known in Thailand for her significant contributions to law, diplomacy, and social services. She also advocated for the rights of female prisoners.
According to the royal palace, her funeral will be conducted with traditional royal honors, and her body will be placed at the Grand Palace for public condolences.
