Islamabad (Lord Media): Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi has ordered the termination of austerity measures in the Supreme Court of Pakistan. The notification for austerity measures issued on March 10, 2026, has been withdrawn.
According to the notification, the austerity policy in the Supreme Court will effectively end on June 15, 2026.
From June 15, 2026, all operations of the Supreme Court will proceed as usual, as further stated in the notification.
