Washington (Lord Media): The U.S. Air Force targeted an Indian oil tanker in the Gulf of Oman, resulting in three individuals going missing while 21 others were rescued. According to the U.S. military, the oil tanker attempted to breach an American blockade by transferring oil from Iran.
The U.S. military stated that the airstrike occurred when the tanker’s crew failed to comply with instructions from American forces. The aircraft targeted the ship’s engine room.
India expressed strong condemnation of the attack, summoning the deputy head of the U.S. mission in New Delhi to formally lodge a protest.
Following the attack, a fire erupted on the Indian oil tanker, leaving three crew members missing. A total of 21 individuals, including 24 Indian nationals, were rescued.
