Islamabad (Lord Media): The Islamabad High Court has restrained the arrest of PTI leader Seemabia Tahir in a case registered under the PECA Act. Justice Khadim Hussain Somro heard the pre-arrest bail plea, where Seemabia Tahir appeared with her legal team.
The petitioner’s lawyer informed the court that the FIA had filed a case under the PECA Act, raising concerns about her client’s potential arrest.
After hearing the arguments, the court granted interim bail to Seemabia Tahir until the next hearing and issued a notice to the FIA to submit a response.
The Islamabad High Court has adjourned further proceedings of the case until June 17.
