Washington (Lord Media): The United States has rejected Israel’s request for access to details of an agreement with Iran. According to Israeli media, Israel had formally requested access to the memorandum of understanding, which the U.S. declined, citing national security concerns. Israeli officials have expressed surprise at the U.S. decision.
It is noteworthy that details of the 14-point memorandum between Iran and the U.S. have surfaced, including the lifting of the U.S. naval blockade, suspension of restrictions on Iran’s oil exports, and other key points.
Under the agreement, the U.S. and its allies will provide 300 billion U.S. dollars for Iran’s reconstruction, while Iran’s missile program and support for resistance groups are not included in the agreement. Iran’s 24 billion U.S. dollars in frozen assets will be released, with 12 billion U.S. dollars to be released by the U.S. before negotiations.
The peace agreement is set to be signed on June 19 in Switzerland.
