Uganda reaffirmed its commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment at the 9th OIC Ministerial Conference on Women in Islamabad, highlighting progress in female leadership, economic empowerment, land rights and digital inclusion while calling for stronger action to address gender-based violence, cultural barriers and inadequate funding.
