A vibrant cultural concert was held at the Pakistan National Council of Arts in Islamabad during the 10th Pakistan-Russia Intergovernmental Commission meeting, showcasing the rich artistic heritage of both countries.
The event was highlighted by the presence of Russian Energy Minister Sergei Tsivilev, who praised the performances of Pakistani and Russian artists. Senior officials, including Russia’s Deputy Ministers for Science, Higher Education, and Energy, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Culture, also attended the concert.
The State Academic Russian Folk Ensemble performed classical Russian and Soviet compositions, including pieces like “Dark Eyes” and “Peddlers,” captivating the audience with their melodies. Pakistani artists complemented the evening with traditional music and cultural performances, earning widespread appreciation from attendees.
Guests from both nations enjoyed a fusion of folk traditions, celebrating the growing cultural collaboration between Pakistan and Russia.
