Tehran (Lord Media): Iran’s chief negotiator and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has strongly reacted to U.S. attacks, stating that the era of bullying and extortion is over and Iran will never yield. He highlighted serious violations by the U.S. of the memorandum of understanding, including sanctions on Iranian oil exports, threats of further attacks, and violations of Iran’s actions in the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi stated that ending the exemption on oil exports violates Article 10 of the Islamabad memorandum. According to him, U.S. military actions contradict Articles 1 and 2 of the agreement, while U.S. support for Israeli actions in Lebanon also deviates from the agreement.
Kazem Gharibabadi further emphasized that Iran is informing the U.S. of the consequences of these violations and will take decisive measures to protect national interests and security. Iran has demanded full compliance with all clauses of the agreement from the U.S.
