China’s state-run news agency Xinhua has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with London-based brand valuation and strategy consultancy Brand Finance to strengthen cooperation in brand development, media strategy, and global communications.
The MoU aims to facilitate knowledge exchange, joint research, and collaborative initiatives to enhance Xinhua’s global brand presence and explore opportunities in media valuation, corporate reputation, and market strategy.
Under the agreement, both parties will work on sharing expertise in areas such as brand valuation methodologies, digital media outreach, and international media influence assessment. The partnership is expected to support Xinhua’s efforts to expand its influence and visibility in global media markets.
A spokesperson from Brand Finance described the collaboration as “an important step in bridging media strategy and brand intelligence across international markets,” while Xinhua highlighted the MoU as a means to reinforce its global communications footprint.
