Islamabad (Lord Media): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Maria Fernanda, a candidate for the United Nations Secretary-General position. During the meeting, the Prime Minister reiterated Pakistan’s longstanding commitment to promoting multilateral cooperation and emphasized the importance of the United Nations.
He expressed hope that the future leadership of the UN would ensure effective implementation of Security Council resolutions and respect for international laws.
Maria Fernanda praised Pakistan’s efforts towards regional peace and its active role in the United Nations.
