Pakistan delivered one of the most record-breaking performances in their T20 International history by defeating Australia in the third and final match of the series.
The victory saw Pakistan become the first team ever to dismiss Australia for under 100 runs three times in T20 Internationals, underlining their dominance in the format. The win also sealed Pakistan’s second clean sweep over Australia in a three-match T20I series, another first in the rivalry.

Australia, in reply, were bowled out for 96 runs, handing them a 111-run defeat, which stands as the worst loss in Australia’s T20 International history.
Pakistan’s bowling attack played a central role in the record-laden victory. He is only the second Pakistani overall to achieve a five-wicket haul in the format, after Umar Gul.
Shaheen Shah Afridi also added another milestone to his career, becoming the first bowler to take 25 wickets in the first over of T20 Internationals, highlighting his impact with the new ball.
In batting, captain Babar Azam reached a landmark of his own by breaking the record for the most half-centuries in T20 International cricket. His tally of 39 fifties makes him the most prolific run-getter in the format.
The match concluded a series filled with milestones, reinforcing Pakistan’s growing reputation as one of the most formidable teams in T20 cricket.
