Pakistan Shaheens announced for England A white-ball series in UAE

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 16-member Pakistan Shaheens squad for the upcoming T20 and one-day series against England A.

The white-ball series will be played in the United Arab Emirates, with all matches taking place at the Abu Dhabi Stadium Oval. The three-match T20 series will begin on February 20, followed by a five-match ODI series from February 27 to March 9.

Shamil Hussian will captain Pakistan Shaheens for both series. Other squad members include Abdul Samad, Hasan Nawaz, Moiz Siddiq, Saad Khan, Samir Minhas, and Arfat Minhas.

Rohail Nazir and Saad Baig will share wicketkeeping duties, while Saeed Masood and Sufyan Muqeem will handle spin bowling. The fast bowling department consists of Ali Raza, Ahmed Daniyal, Akif Javed, Mohammad Salman, and Shahid Aziz.

The Shaheens will hold a seven-day training camp in Karachi from February 11 to 17.

Former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed will serve as mentor and manager, Ijaz Ahmed Junior as head coach, Mansoor Amjad as fielding coach, and Aizaz Cheema as bowling coach.
