Islamabad’s Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has declared Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shibli Faraz a proclaimed offender in two cases. The hearings relate to the February 28 attack on the Judicial Complex.
The session was presided over by Judge Tahir Abbas Supra, who marked Faraz as an absconder due to his repeated absence from court. Former Law Minister Raja Basharat and other accused appeared before the court during the proceedings.
PTI leaders and workers were represented by advocates Sardar Muhammad Masroof Khan and Zahid Basheer Dar. The court adjourned the hearing after confirming the presence of those who attended.
The two cases against PTI leaders are registered at the Ramna police station and are part of ongoing investigations into the Judicial Complex attack.
