Lady Inspector Iram Khanam to represent Pakistan in Sri Lanka

Lady Inspector Iram Khanam of Rawalpindi Police has been selected to represent Pakistan in the International World Powerlifting Championship, scheduled to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka. She is set to depart on November 23, 2025 for the competition.

Chief Police Officer Syed Khalid Hamdani honored Lady Inspector Iram Khanam with a certificate of appreciation and cash award for her outstanding achievements in sports.

Lady Inspector Iram Khanam has a strong track record in national competitions. On October 4, she won one gold and two silver medals in the Inter-Region Archery Championship held in Rawalpindi. Later, on October 23, she secured a gold medal in the Powerlifting Championship in PC Farooqabad.

Highlighting the importance of sports in fostering police personnel’s talents, CPO Hamdani said, “Rawalpindi Police is utilizing all available resources to provide opportunities for officers to showcase their abilities in sports.”
