Nadir Raza Mirza to represent Pakistan at Junior Tennis Championship in Japan

Pakistani junior tennis player Nadir Raza Mirza is representing Pakistan at the Dunlop Road to the Australian Open – Asian Qualifying Tournament in Yokkaichi, Japan.

The tournament, part of the pathway to the Australian Open Juniors, brings together the region’s top young tennis talent. Nadir’s participation is seen as a significant milestone for both him and Pakistan, highlighting the country’s growing presence in international junior tennis.

Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President of the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), extended his best wishes to Nadir. “Nadir is a great talent and a source of pride for Pakistan. His participation on such an international stage is not only a personal achievement but also an inspiration for all upcoming tennis players in the country. We hope he performs well and, Inshallah, achieves a result that qualifies him for the Australian Open Juniors,” Qureshi said.

Col. Zia-ud-din Tufail (R), Secretary General of PTF, also congratulated Nadir, adding, “This is a great honor for Pakistan and a testament to the growing potential of our young players.”

Nadir’s participation reflects the Pakistan Tennis Federation’s commitment to nurturing young talent and providing them with international exposure to compete at higher levels.
