Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif chaired a high-level meeting to review the progress of the Jinnah Medical Complex and Research Center. The Prime Minister emphasized completing the project under a comprehensive strategy, ensuring modern medical facilities and high-quality construction.
He directed all relevant authorities to resolve any obstacles to the timely completion of the complex through coordinated efforts. The Prime Minister also instructed that a sub-health center under the Jinnah Medical Complex be established to provide medical services to the local population.
Shehbaz Sharif stressed that international experts should be engaged as needed to support advanced treatment and ensure quality standards. According to the briefing, required land for the project has been acquired, and a design consultant has been selected. The Prime Minister also called for third-party validation of the project to ensure transparency and quality.
Officials provided the Prime Minister with a detailed briefing on arrangements, performance, and progress so far. He directed all involved ministries and departments to collaborate and complete the project at the earliest possible time.
The meeting was attended by Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for Health Mustafa Kamal, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema, and other senior officials.
