Lahore (Lord Media): Police in Lahore have arrested a non-Muslim man who allegedly posed as a Muslim to marry a Muslim woman. The Dolphin Squad conducted the operation leading to the arrest.
According to a spokesperson for the Dolphin Force, the suspect pretended to be a Muslim and married into a Muslim family in Peshawar. He is facing charges under various sections and is also a court absconder.
The Muslim family filed a case against the suspect for deceitfully marrying their daughter. Additional charges were filed for mocking Islamic practices and falsely claiming to be a Muslim.
The suspect, Ziad, was apprehended by the Dolphin Team in Muslim Town and handed over to the Wahdat Colony police station.
