Quetta (Lord Media): In a terrorist attack in the Kach Mangi Phase III area of Ziarat, nine Balochistan police officers, including two SHOs, were killed. Security forces, police, and other agencies conducted a joint clearance operation, killing 15 terrorists.
SP Ziarat Abdul Qudoos Dehwar stated that the terrorists targeted police officers and kidnapped several locals, five of whom managed to escape.
Balochistan’s Assistant Chief Minister Shahid Rind announced the success of the clearance operation, stating that the terrorists suffered heavy losses and that the state will continue robust action against them.
Residents of Ziarat protested the incident, blocking the national highway, while search operations in the area are ongoing.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the attack and paid tribute to the martyrs. They emphasized that action against those harming Balochistan’s peace will continue.
