In the last over, Texas Super Kings needed 15 runs to win with five wickets down. Shanaka bowled Ferreira on the third ball, caught Savage on the fourth, and had Malan caught by the wicketkeeper on the fifth. He completed his four-wicket haul by having De Silva caught on the final delivery.
