Anita Karim has made history by becoming Pakistan’s first professional female MMA fighter to win a national title.
The Professional MMA League hosted the Infinite Championship in Islamabad, where the 52-kilogram women’s title fight took place. Anita Karim defeated Iran’s Parisa Shamshabadi with a first-round knockout to claim the championship.
Hailing from Hunza, Anita Karim has previously achieved notable victories in international competitions and is widely recognized as Pakistan’s pioneer in professional women’s MMA.
This win marks her first professional MMA title fight victory on home soil.
