Islamabad (Lord Media): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed Pakistani embassies to expedite the search for employment opportunities for the workforce. During a meeting focused on providing employment to the youth, the Prime Minister received a detailed briefing on job opportunities.
The Prime Minister emphasized the need to provide skills, language training, and certification to the workforce, particularly the youth. He further stated that Pakistani workers are talented, and efforts are ongoing to ensure access to global-standard education.
Shehbaz Sharif instructed that language education and certification for skilled individuals in relevant countries be ensured. A report on the performance of NAVTTC training institutes and country of destination centers was requested.
The briefing revealed that 800,000 youths have registered on the Digital Youth Hub, and there are extensive employment opportunities for Pakistanis in various sectors abroad. Pakistani embassies will provide data on job opportunities and required qualifications on the Digital Youth Hub.
