ISLAMABAD: Tensions between the United States and Iran have entered a dangerous phase as both sides continue military strikes, while diplomatic efforts are underway to prevent further escalation in the Middle East.<\/p>\n
According to international media reports, Iran launched ballistic missiles and drone attacks on US military installations in Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait in response to recent American airstrikes on Iranian targets.<\/p>\n
Iran\u2019s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) warned that all US military bases in the region would remain potential targets if Washington carried out further attacks against Iran.<\/p>\n
The Iranian state media reported that the IRGC fired 10 ballistic missiles at the US military\u2019s Azraq air base in Jordan, where American troops and air force personnel are stationed. Jordan\u2019s official news agency, however, said its air defence system intercepted eight missiles, adding that no casualties or damage were reported.<\/p>\n
Iran also claimed drone attacks against US facilities in Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait. Tehran said the Patriot missile defence system in Kuwait, an early warning system in Qatar and fuel storage facilities used by US forces in Bahrain were targeted.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Kuwait\u2019s military said it had intercepted three ballistic missiles, one cruise missile and 10 drones laun<\/p>\n
