QUETTA (Lord Media): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has accused a neighboring country of supporting terrorism in Balochistan by providing funds and weapons, with terrorists taking refuge in Afghanistan.<\/p>\n
He made these remarks while addressing the provincial apex committee meeting of the National Action Plan in Quetta. The meeting was attended by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Balochistan Governor Jafar Khan Mandokhel, Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, heads of law enforcement agencies, federal ministers Ahsan Iqbal, Attaullah Tarar, and PM’s advisor Rana Sanaullah.<\/p>\n
Addressing the meeting, the Prime Minister noted that severe incidents occurred in Balochistan over the past four days, resulting in the martyrdom of 42 individuals, including civilians and security personnel, while 54 terrorists were killed. He emphasized the involvement of the eastern neighbor in these attacks, which is extensively funding and arming terrorists, who are taking refuge in Afghanistan, along with other external elements he chose not to name.<\/p>\n
Shehbaz Sharif stated that political and military leadership are united against terrorism, with the elimination of terrorists being the top priority. He vowed to eradicate this menace collectively, using all resources, and declared that the fight will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated.<\/p>\n
He added that Pakistan’s diplomatic successes are unsettling for the enemy, but the country will soon become a hub of development and prosperity, with the sacrifices of martyrs bearing fruit.<\/p>\n
