According to Iranian media, the bodies of Seyyed Ali Khamenei and his family were transported from Iraq to Iran last night after final religious rites were performed in Najaf and Karbala. In Najaf, millions attended the funeral prayer at the Shrine of Hazrat Ali, followed by the transfer of the body to Karbala, where prayers were also held at the Shrine of Imam Hussain.<\/p>\n
Iranian media claims that approximately 4 million mourners participated in the funeral procession in Karbala, with recitations and lamentations continuing throughout the night at the Shrine of Imam Hussain. However, these figures have not been independently verified.<\/p>\n
