Islamabad (Lord Media): Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb inaugurated the Invest Pak portal on Monday, marking it as the beginning of a new era of investment in Pakistan. He stated that this modern digital platform will simplify, make transparent, and enhance the investment process for both domestic and international investors.<\/p>\n
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, the Finance Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to providing modern facilities to investors and promoting investment. He congratulated the Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, Jameel Ahmed, on this initiative, describing the Invest Pak portal as a new chapter in Pakistan’s investment landscape.<\/p>\n
He explained that the portal is specifically designed to provide foreign investors with easy access to investment opportunities in Pakistan. According to him, there are vast investment opportunities across various sectors in Pakistan, and this platform will streamline the investment process to align with global standards.<\/p>\n
Muhammad Aurangzeb announced that citizens can now start investing with as little as 5,000 rupees through the Jazz Cash app. He stated that the aim of this initiative is to provide access to financial markets for ordinary investors, particularly small investors.<\/p>\n
He noted that interest in the Pakistan Stock Exchange is continuously increasing, and the younger generation, especially Generation Z, should take full advantage of these investment opportunities.<\/p>\n
The Finance Minister highlighted that digital transformation is essential for sustainable economic growth, and platforms like Invest Pak will play a crucial role in Pakistan’s economic development, with the private sector holding a key position in this process.<\/p>\n
Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, Jameel Ahmed, stated that the government is taking effective measures to promote investment, and the Invest Pak portal will be a significant milestone in advancing digital investment in the country.
