Gilgit-Baltistan (Lord Media): A 40-year-old French climber has died in an avalanche while attempting to scale the Baltistan Peak in the Hoshe Valley of Ghanche district, Gilgit-Baltistan. Local authorities reported that the climber, Pierre Guillaume, was part of a three-member international expedition aiming to conquer the 7,282-meter-high peak.<\/p>\n
