Islamabad (Lord Media): PPP leader Nayyar Hussain Bukhari has accused authorities of obstructing the party’s progress in Gilgit-Baltistan. He stated that after an independent candidate joined, PPP secured 12 seats, but the Supreme Appellate Bench suspended orders for two successful PPP candidates.<\/p>\n
Bukhari claimed that illegal postal ballot counting led to the defeat of a winning PPP candidate, with Form 49 issued to the opponent. He added that according to election laws, the official gazette must be issued within 14 days of polling, which has not yet occurred.<\/p>\n
The PPP leader asserted that matters in Gilgit-Baltistan are not being conducted according to the constitution and law, and obstacles are being placed in the party’s path.<\/p>\n
