Lahore (Lord Media): The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the implementation of a new central contract system effective from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. According to Cricinfo, players eligible for the central contract must have played at least 4 Test matches, 6 ODIs, or 6 T20 Internationals in the past 12 months.<\/p>\n
Under the new system, players are categorized into different tracks. Top Test specialists in Track A will receive a monthly salary of 4 million rupees, while top players in both Test and ODI formats in Track A B will earn 4.8 million rupees monthly.<\/p>\n
White-ball specialists in Track B C will be paid 3.4 million rupees per month, and T20 specialists in Track C will receive 2.6 million rupees monthly. Players in Track C will be allowed to participate in T20 leagues worldwide.<\/p>\n
A special provision for emerging players in Track D has been set, offering a monthly stipend of 1 million rupees.<\/p>\n
