{"id":74405,"date":"2026-05-11T16:10:14","date_gmt":"2026-05-11T11:10:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chinaurdu.com\/eng\/?p=74405"},"modified":"2026-05-11T16:10:14","modified_gmt":"2026-05-11T11:10:14","slug":"akshaye-khanna-praised-for-standing-up-for-fellow-actor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chinaurdu.com\/eng\/?p=74405","title":{"rendered":"Akshaye Khanna praised for standing up for fellow actor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Indian actor Amit Behl has revealed an incident involving Akshaye Khanna, saying the Bollywood star once strongly confronted a producer after a fellow actor was stopped from eating with the main cast and crew.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking during an interview, Amit Behl said a character actor who was staying at a separate hotel had come to Akshaye Khanna\u2019s hotel for lunch during a film shoot.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the actor had barely started eating when the producer\u2019s wife or a relative noticed him and reportedly objected, saying he was not part of the group and should not be eating there.<\/p>\n<p>Amit Behl said members of the production team also asked the actor to stop eating, after which he quietly moved his plate aside and sat down feeling hurt and embarrassed.<\/p>\n<p>He recalled that Akshaye Khanna witnessed the situation from a distance and immediately intervened.<\/p>\n<p>According to Amit Behl, Akshaye criticised the producer and crew in strong words and reminded them about the importance of dignity and humanity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFilms are not made by plates of food or expensive arrangements, but by people\u2019s prayers,\u201d Akshaye Khanna reportedly said during the confrontation.<\/p>\n<p>Amit Behl added that the incident showed how sensitive and caring Akshaye Khanna was toward fellow actors and colleagues working in the industry.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Indian actor Amit Behl has revealed an incident involving Akshaye Khanna, saying the Bollywood star once strongly confronted a producer after a fellow actor was stopped from eating with the main cast and crew.
