{"id":74262,"date":"2026-05-05T17:41:09","date_gmt":"2026-05-05T12:41:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chinaurdu.com\/eng\/?p=74262"},"modified":"2026-05-05T17:41:09","modified_gmt":"2026-05-05T12:41:09","slug":"psb-launches-merit-based-talent-identification-programme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chinaurdu.com\/eng\/?p=74262","title":{"rendered":"PSB launches merit-based talent identification programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pakistan Sports Board has announced the launch of a National Talent Identification and Verification System in a major step towards promoting merit-based sports development in the country.<\/p>\n<p>According to details, the programme aims to provide young athletes across Pakistan with a transparent and structured platform to showcase their abilities at the national level.<\/p>\n<p>Officials said the initiative is designed to address a long-standing gap in Pakistan\u2019s sports system by creating equal opportunities for talented players from all regions of the country.<\/p>\n<p>The programme will be open to all Pakistani citizens between the ages of 12 and 25 years.<\/p>\n<p>Applications for all sports, except cricket, can be submitted through the official PSB website in both Urdu and English languages.<\/p>\n<p>The Pakistan Sports Board has also announced that no fee will be charged at any stage of the process, while applications will remain open throughout the year.<\/p>\n<p>Under the new system, applications will first undergo scrutiny by an independent panel of experts.
