The Senate chairman described the recent state visit of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Pakistan as a landmark development that has elevated bilateral relations to the level of a strategic partnership.<\/p>\n<p>Emphasizing the importance of parliamentary diplomacy, Gilani called for stronger institutional linkages between the legislatures of both countries, including regular high-level exchanges and the reactivation of parliamentary friendship groups to enhance dialogue and share legislative best practices.<\/p>\n<p>On economic cooperation, he noted positive momentum in bilateral trade, particularly in agriculture, and stressed the need to further enhance connectivity. He highlighted the importance of establishing direct air links to facilitate trade, tourism, and people-to-people contact between the two countries.<\/p>\n<p>Regional cooperation also featured prominently during the meeting.
